Dick Cartwright is starting, from
the ground up, on his VW bug restoration. Here is a picture after the floor pans were welded in.
Gary Whittington has purchased a
302/C4 combo, from Rayford Dingus, to install in his
65 Mustang. Gary has also purchased a disc brake conversion and 8” rear.
The editor’s grandson was spotted
illegal street racing in his 50’s model vintage fire
truck.
Charlie Thomas says it has been cold and he ate a lot at
Christmas. He says he is now hibernating until spring.
2018 Officer
Elections
Due to many members being out with illness in December, we will be
electing officers at this month’s meeting. Open positions include Vice President
and Treasurer. We will discuss dividing Treasurer’s duties, separating
fees/monthly operations and car show responsibilities.

Cabin Fever at Knoxville Expo Center is this weekend, Jan 13th
and 14th. Next weekend is the car show at Walters State Expo car show, Jan 19th
and 20th, exit 8 off I-81. See listings below for more early shows.
